Before you arrive

Visiting a patient

Check with the ward before travelling because visiting arrangements can change to meet a patient’s clinical needs. Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult, but please ask the ward team first.

  1. Know the wardBring the patient’s full name and ward or department, if you know it.
  2. Clean your handsUse hand gel when entering and leaving clinical areas.
  3. Stay home if unwellDo not visit if you have vomiting, diarrhoea, fever, flu-like symptoms or a contagious illness.

Ground floor, open 7:30am–6pm weekdays and 9am–4pm weekends.

Quiet room

A multi-faith space for reflection is available near the main atrium.

Free visitor Wi-Fi is available throughout public and inpatient areas.

Some wards restrict flowers. Please ask the ward before bringing large gifts.

Food

Ask staff before bringing food for a patient because dietary restrictions may apply.
